Understanding Your Child's MCAS Scores
If you were unable to join us this past Wednesday at the Lura A.
White Elementary School for the presentation on Understanding Your Child's MCAS
Report, you can find the MCAS presentation here. At
the end of the PPT are several resources for parents/guardians. Please take a
few minutes to review the Parent/Guardian Guides to the MA Standards. They are organized by grade level and are designed to help you understand what your child should know and be able to do at each level, better known as grade level learning standards. You should find these documents very helpful.

selected to be MIAA Student Ambassadors this year. Andre Aaronson, Elise
Fredericks, and Garreth Austin will participate in a number of MIAA and Central
MA events designed to develop their leadership skills while giving back to the
state and region. The goal is to create students who assume leadership roles in
schools and communities, and who will continue to serve long after their
graduation.
